Particular interest in adult ADHD. I chose psychology out of curiosity about the human mind and a desire to help others find their way back to themselves. I found myself in the principles of Ericksonian psychotherapy, in particular that people have all the resources necessary to lead fulfilling lives, with the therapist acting as a guide on this journey towards hope and rediscovering one's own qualities. I believe that change in society starts with individual change, and psychotherapy provides this framework for personal analysis and introspection, leading to self-acceptance and living an authentic life. Since I began practicing in this field, I have felt privileged that people feel comfortable sharing a part of their world with me and I want each encounter to be transformative.
As far as the clinical assessment process is concerned, for me it is not only for diagnostic purposes but also for counselling and therapeutic intervention.

Inițial, doamna psiholog mi-a făcut o impresie foarte bună. Totuși, cumva la cele două teste administrate pentru ADHD, la unul am avut rezultate sub, iar la celălalt peste limita care ar fi însemnat un diagnostic clar. Mi-a adus la cunoștință acest lucru la finalul discuției, în ultimul moment, fără cel mai mic gest de a lămuri acest lucru, spunând doar că doamna doctor va decide. Ei bine, nici doamna doctor Ioana Silion nu și-a bătut capul – nu le recomand pe niciuna dintre ele.
Din pacate experianta mea cu doamna Anca ,nu a fost foarte placuta. Mi s-a parut rece si dezinteresata de problemele mele, chiar daca venisem pentru screening de ADHD.
Pe langa asta, a simtit nevoia sa-mi invalideze diagnosticul de ADHD pus in copilarie de catre un medic renumit ,desi in cazul meu era mai mult nevoia de reconfirmare a diagnosticului pus initial.
Lucrul si mai sumbru este ca nu a fost deloc obiectiva cand mi-a facut scorurile pentru DIVA-5, desi marcam toate cerintele ca fiind prezente in viata mea, a notat doar jumatate , fapt pe care l-am discutat si cu medicul curent si a considerat ca nu e deloc ok cum a procedat doamna psiholog.
Per total, nu o recomand deloc pentru cineva cu ADHD.
