Between 2009-2016 he worked as a specialist in paediatric psychiatry in the Medlife - Mindcare Psychiatry and Psychotherapy Clinic and in the Centre for Emotional and Behavioural Education for Children "Save the Children", Bucharest (2011-2016). Since February 2017, she is a founding member and Paediatric Psychiatry Specialist of the Centre for Psychotherapy and Counselling for Children, Adolescents and Family, MINDTHERAPY CENTER. During her years of training and later as a psychiatrist, she has been involved in numerous projects for the prevention of mental health disorders in children and adolescents, combating violence against children, developing secure attachment relationships between parent and child. She has participated in the assessment of children with emotional and behavioural disorders, development of intervention and treatment plan, psychoeducation of family and teachers, direct intervention in family and school for parents and children at risk of developing emotional and behavioural disorders, training and workshops for teachers, parents and children. She has completed training in EMDR (the psychological intervention technique used in the therapy of trauma/traumatic experiences/post traumatic stress disorder) and is a supervising family and couple psychotherapist with the Alliance for Children and Families. She certified as a Circle of security parent educator - a parenting education and counselling programme that promotes behaviour change in children by improving the quality of the parent-child relationship and building a secure attachment base (2016) and has started training as a couple and family therapist (2016). She is a Master's graduate specialising in 'Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapies' and a summer school participant organised by the ECNP School of Neuropshychopharmacology (Oxford, 2010). She has initiated and participated in projects dedicated to teachers and parents: counselling for teachers in approaching and supporting pupils with CES and in approaching and supporting pupils with ADHD, workshop/workshops for parents on "The impact of modern technology on brain development". She was a member of the organising committee of the First Congress of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (2007, Bucharest), member of the team in the Project "Prophylaxis in the psychiatric and psychosocial pathology of children with ADHD and autism spectrum disorders" within the National Mental Health Programme of the Ministry of Health (2007); member of the organising committee of the 5th National Conference on Child and Adolescent Mental Health, with international participation (Bucharest, 2008) and member of the editorial board of the Romanian Journal of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (2008-2010).
