Dr. Diana Vieru

With a strong professional background in paediatric psychiatry, I am a resident and specialist dedicated to providing quality health care for children and adolescents. I have been working at the Children's Emergency Hospital in Cluj-Napoca for five years, from January 2017 to January 2022. Here I gained extensive experience in assessing and treating children's mental health problems. Currently, I am a specialist in paediatric psychiatry and I am continuing my training in this field. I obtained my medical degree at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy "Gr. T. Popa" in Iasi, in September 2016. In order to enrich my knowledge and deepen my experience in my field, I participated in the ERASMUS+ programme from October 2014 to June 2015 at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Lorraine in Nancy, France. In addition to my expertise in paediatric psychiatry, I am also training to become a specialist in cognitive behavioural coaching. Through the International Association for Cognitive Behavioural Coaching, I am developing my skills in this field and I am committed to providing appropriate support and guidance to children and adolescents to overcome their emotional and behavioural difficulties. With a passion and commitment to helping young people improve their mental health, I am looking for new opportunities to develop professionally and contribute to the wellbeing of children and adolescents. Through my empathetic approach, sound medical knowledge and desire to provide the best possible care, I am dedicated to bringing positive change in the lives of my patients. With a wealth of experience in the field of paediatric psychiatry and strong organisational skills, I have acquired outstanding abilities in managing and coordinating the work of resident doctors. As chief resident in paediatric psychiatry in 2019-2020, I have demonstrated the ability to prioritise and organise the work of my fellow residents more effectively. I represented residents' interests and mediated conflicts that may have arisen within the team. In addition to organisational skills, I developed strong communication and interpersonal skills. These have been developed over the years by participating in various voluntary activities during my undergraduate and postgraduate studies. With my strong communication and organisational skills, I am ready to take on leadership roles in a professional environment. I am results orientated and committed to creating a collaborative and efficient working environment. I am passionate about personal development and continuous growth, and in any project I am involved in, I strive to achieve the best results and build strong professional relationships. With a proactive attitude, effective communication skills and coordination skills, I am prepared to make meaningful contributions in a dynamic work environment and my goal is to be a valued professional in the field of paediatric psychiatry.
