2 Reviews on "Dr Diana Mihalcea"
Decent during the treatment period, with antidepressants, but immediately after the interruption (1-2 weeks), when I was feeling horrible, I failed to contact her for an opinion and possible advice to navigate the period more smoothly. Initially I was told it would be a smooth transition, the final dose being very low, and the reality was totally different. I tried to discuss the situation in psychotherapy but the therapist is not a psychiatric specialist, couldn't pronounce and redirected me to the specialist who... was unhelpful, replied at one point to a message suggesting I call the rescue if I didn't get over it in 15 minutes, without further clarification, having to discuss it with another psychiatrist, who was not with me throughout the treatment.
He has the right knowledge about adhd and how to diagnose it, but I didn't resonate with the psychiatric interview, which was on the teleconference, because he wasn't even looking at me and the questions were robotic. About halfway through he lost me and in my head it was already that I would never come back. Even if it was on video, I still think a consultation should try to have at least the same quality as a do 2 do. But that was 2 years ago, maybe it has changed.
